I found this post while searching baby blogs. Reading books to babies is very important. I strongly recommend board books for babies; otherwise the books get ruined.
Top 5 books for my baby:
- Goodnight Moon. A good book, and Michael pays attention for the entire book, which automatically qualifies it for the top 5.
- But Not the Hippopotamus. Another good book: a sense of humor and some social educational value.
- Pat the Bunny. A great book, which incorporates touching different textures to engage your baby.
- Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See? A great book that uses repetition to engage baby.
- Is your Mama a Llama? Llamas are cool, and so is this book. Our family favorite.
We have all those books except the last one. I love Sandra Boynton’s books.
