This is my Swan Song. My final post on Pocket Change. Good riddance to me. To commemorate myself, I wanted to go out with a bang and leave you with a few ways to have your cake and eat it, too.
Are you sick of the onslaught of Amazon Bestseller political books that fatten the pockets of the most controversial finger-pointing blowhards in America? Well, Keith Olbermann has written a book pointing fingers at all those people (and more!) in one hardcover. His ironic The Worst Person in the World and 202 Strong Contenders should probably land somewhere on Amazon’s Bestseller list. Um. I still love him though A.A.F.*
That doesn’t interest you? Well, I’ve got just the thing. Why do fuel-efficient cars have to look like giant robotic kidney beans and run like a gimpy Chihuahua in the snow? They don’t. Check out the Tesla Roadster by Tesla Motors: an all out electric car with performance stats that appeal to the big boys. If you don’t care about the environment, then look at the fuel efficiency as a way to save cash for all the speed traps you’ll blow by while trying to make Hybrid owners sob all over their steering columns.
No sale? You’re a tough audience. Ok, ok, ok. Step over here. You’re going to like this…
Did you miss your favorite show last night because the S.W.A.T. team raided your apartment for contraband? Do you not have a Tivo yet because you still think it’s just some stupid geeky fad? Well, ABC has just made your life easier by offering free episodes of its best shows on its own website. This includes hot prime time goodies such as Lost, Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives… but unfortunately, you’ll have to go elsewhere for the best reality show of all time.
Now make a wish and blow out the candles.
