Recently I’ve been scouring the web for the best places that will make my belly a bit more squishy. To that extent, there’s a great restaurant review site that covers the San Francisco bay area: Jason and Terry’s Bay Area Review is home to a very large number of reviews, each with numerous accompanying pictures to give you an idea of what you should expect. If you are in the area or will be visiting soon, do give it a look.
As with any such resource your mileage may vary, but I have thus far been pleased with the site’s recommendations. I also have Jatbar to thank for the recent discovery of the wonderful Las Muchachas.

Yelp springs immediately to mind–but for true obsession, it’s hard to beat Burrito Eater, which conducts meticulous examinations of damn near every taqueria in San Francisco. Also, they rate on a scale of 1-10 mustaches, which is to be admired.
