There is a tendency in the video game industry to fill games with as much depth, story, blood, guns, explosions, swords, and whatever else is lying around in order to make it a complete experience. The folks at Nintendo have always impressed me with their ability to make simple and cute all that is needed for a fun game. Warioware Smooth Moves for the Wii is a perfect example of this. The game doesn’t have a deep storyline that takes you on twists and turns. It doesn’t blow you away with how real the textures on the faces look. It doesn’t even make much sense. Yet I can guarantee a good time if the game is combined with four good friends and a bottle of Jäger. There are many out there that criticize Nintendo for their lack of online play and last generation graphics, but a game like this shows very clearly that they don’t need those things to make a fun game.
Fun is the key word that comes to mind over and over again when trying to discuss this game. Warioware Smooth Moves takes advantage of all that the Wiimote has to offer in order to create the most involved 3 second microgames possible. The game itself is full of its own brand of quirky humor that not only has the characters doing goofy things, but pulls you into the goofiness too…
LETS POSE!

…Anyway. This game is a must for anyone considering throwing a Wii Party, or just enjoys having a few friends over. Though I warn you now, do not have cameras nearby while playing Warioware Smooth Moves. It will end up on the Internet.
Which brings up an idea. If you have any picture of you or your friends doing the poses from Warioware Smooth Moves (or any other goofy pose brought about by a Wii game)— Post them!
Or just watch this video.
