Yes, pink teddy bears can be scary

I’ve always been a fan of creative advertisements. With so many organizations embracing the tubes as a vehicle (but not a truck) for raising brand awareness, it’s nice to see ad campaigns that encourage originality in execution and distribution.

The reintroduction of Adidas’ Adicolor line of shoes last year prompted the company to hire a number of artists to develop video responses to specific colors—red, yellow, white, pink, blue, black, and green. The campaign also embraced podcasts and amused many with its RGB domain naming scheme.

The works produced are extraordinary and I applaud Adidas for funding the project.
