This edition of the Carnival of Shopping will be short but sweet—kind of like the one penning this post, or so I’d like to think *ducks for lightning*.
First up, we have some words of wisdom on sales, sales, SALES from My New Shiny Shoes that should help deflect the evil powers that be—sales goggles.
Kids have it easy. Everything is right or wrong, black or white. Then you mature into an adult and are faced with questions that fall into the “gray” area. For example, is it really wrong to double dip if no one witnesses you doing it? What about the even more mystifying question of movie hopping in the theatre: stealing or exploring your choices? Thankfully we have Trent from the Silver Dollar with guidelines to help us ease through the gray area between want and need.
Speaking of questions, Money, Matter, and More Musings discusses the ongoing debate of whether or not to shop at Wal-Mart. Living too many miles away to be considered convenient from a Wal-Mart, I have luckily evaded this problem. Too bad I can’t say the same for my second home Target.
Finally, we have She Has Moxie offering us some of her favorite online shopping haunts. I would like to add Ebay and Become (shameless plug!) to that list.
