Winter Boots!

It’s January! And that means New Year’s resolutions, Inauguration day, the NFL playoffs, and lots of snow!  Since I helped you out last month with picking out a winter jacket, I feel it is only appropriate to continue my guide to outfitting you for braving the winter elements.

A warm coat or jacket is naturally the first item that comes to mind when preparing to spend time outside in cold weather. But let’s not forget to keep your feet warm! ( Fun Fact: Ninety percent of all cases of frostbite affect the feet or hands) While riding boots and leather boots with heels may be stylish and sophisticated for the office, they aren’t the best things to have on your feet when you have to shovel your walkway. Cowboy boots are also not very functional in the snow, I learned that lesson the hard way. It’s important to have a good pair of boots that can let you conquer the icy and snowy terrain that winter weather brings. UGG boots are a big seller for their popularity and wide color selection. While they may be stylish, some people want boots made for the snow and winter-weather. One brand to consider when buying winter boots is Sorel.  Sorel boots are functional and somewhat on the stylish side.  Sorel boots are often made with water-resistant materials but also come in leather or suede.  Along with keeping your feet dry, these boots  come with some amount of insulation depending on which model or style you settle on.  Sorel makes a variety of shapes and styles for men, women, and kids. With your feet dry and warm you can enjoy all snow-filled adventures!

Other brands to consider when shopping for the perfect cold-weather boots are Totes boots, as well as Sporto waterproof suede boots. The Sporto waterproof suede boots for women are a very stylish alternative to the more clunky cold-weather boots. Be sure to check out their other styles as well! So get out and get a good pair of boots and enjoy the snow!
