Walk Behind Lawn Mower

Spring time is coming and most of us will have mow our lawn(s).  In my household, its my responsibility to make sure our lawn is well cut and clean.  We have a decent size lawn, which is less then half an acre.  I am not a big fan of mowing the lawn, so I like to do it quickly and correctly the first time.  For that, I make sure that I have the right kind of lawn mower.  If you are like me, I would recommend a walk behind mower or also known as push mower.  The walk behind lawn mower is recommended for smaller lawns, or for trimming jobs on a larger lawn.  There are two types of starters on a walk behind mower.  An electic starter or the pull start. I am currently using the pull start, my pull start mower hasn’t let me down yet, but I have noticed a lot of the females prefer the electric start mowers, they are easier to start. Usually the electric start mowers are a little more expensive than the “pull” start mowers.

A bag is necessary to to collect the grass and the wood chips.  The bag can be a bit expensive, but its worth it because you don’t have to collect everything in the end. If you have trouble walking, you may want to consider a self-propelled mower; these mower moves without you pushing and another good thing about self-propelled mower is that most of them have controls for speed adjustment.  My lawn mower is running good for now and I hope it runs for another year, but incase it doesn’t I can always go to become.com and get the best deal on a lawn mower.
