Choosing the right baby furniture can be difficult; most advertisers states that you would need a really exclusive full baby furniture room, complete with all the “indispensable” items that they will tell you is a must. At the same time, like many parents, chances are that making sure that your baby’s room is wonderful is probably one of your main priorities. You could probably buy a complete baby furniture set from the start, and that way get all the basic, but I personally think, from my own experience, that to buy baby furniture one by one is better.
You will undoubtedly need some basics. A baby crib and a wardrobe and nursery furniture is a “must have” and a good place to start. Now lets think about this, for the first year or so, the baby will play on the ground, so maybe a soft baby rug and some colorful big storage boxes to keep the toys in, so they are easy to reach for the baby. The rest you can buy along the way, when you really know what you’re in need of.
Later on he or she will start to enjoy baby story books, maybe then you will get a good steady bookshelf (in the right size of course) for the nursery. Get the stuff when you know the needs for your baby. Invest in a cradle that’s where the baby will enjoy staying in, and a place for it to relax. Place some nice pictures on the wall above the crib, maybe get a crib mobile or some nice things to hang from the sides of the crib. As the baby grows you will start understanding there needs.
