Convertible Baby Cribs Make Great Toddler Beds
If you are expecting your first baby or want to get a toddler bed for your toddler, a convertible baby crib is the one piece of furniture that can grow with your child.
A convertible baby crib comes with four sides to keep baby safe and a mattress with added height to save your back. Not to mention the handy storage drawer underneath the crib to store bedtime books. Just be sure to go for the colorful cribs. Give your baby something fun to watch, huh?
When your baby grows to a toddler, convert your baby crib into a toddler bed by removing the front panel and lowering the bed so your toddler can get in and out all by herself. Then add the front guard rail to keep your toddler in the bed when she sleeps.
When your toddler is old enough to stay in bed all night, remove the front guard rail to make a classic day bed for your young child, with an easy to get to drawer underneath.
Then lastly, when your young child becomes too tall for the day bed, buy the under bed extensions to make this crib/day bed into a full size bed. A full size bed is the same sized bed that I have to this very day. Enough room for a twenty-something and definitely enough room for your second grader and her sleep-over buddy.
If you already own a convertible baby crib or convertible toddler bed, let me know how your experience has been with the conversions and how your child has taken to every stage of beds. Please leave a comment below with your thoughts and experiences so that other parents can be better informed.
