Sleeping on Foam

There are few things I enjoy doing more than sleeping, and there are few mattresses that are more comfortable than ones made from praxis memory foam. Originally developed by the scientists at NASA working on seat padding for the space shuttle, memory foam has come down in price in recent years so that it’s affordable to those of us stuck here down on Earth.

The primary selling point of praxis memory foam is that it molds to fit the shape of your body, while remaining stable and firm. Laying down on a hard surface is uncomfortable, and can put pressure on the joints as well as cut off circulation, and surfaces that are too soft can be just as uncomfortable because they don’t provide any support. Praxis memory foam strikes a perfect balance between the two for a comfortable, personalized sleeping experience.

Another benefit of praxis foam is that it helps retain heat. With praxis memory foam there’s no more sleeping in a cold bed, waiting for it to heat up. The visco-elastic polyurethane foam absorbs the heat and helps retain it, making memory foam mattresses a warm and comfortable sleeping surface.

Of course, these days there are a lot more products made from praxis memory foam than just beds and mattresses. There are also memory foam seat cushions, to keep you comfortable while sitting down, memory foam pillows to support your neck & head, memory foam massage pads for use during massage sessions or yoga, and even memory foam leg rests to support your feet & legs.

Personally, my favorite praxis memory foam product is their memory foam lounge bag. Think of it like a traditional bean bag, but with a soft, microfiber exterior and a supportive memory foam interior instead of a bunch of beans. A word of caution: if you end up lounging on one of these comfy bags, you might never want to get back up!
