The Best Bookcases

Manor Oak Bookshelf

I just saw the latest Harry Potter movie last night (which was awesome), and it’s got me thinking that I should take down the books from my bookcase, and re-read them to refresh my memory. Problem is, I have have so many books laying around that I haven’t read yet, and I don’t even have space to store them anymore. It’s obvious that it’s time for me to get a new bookcase.

Canyon Lake Bookcase

There are a lot of different bookcases these days to choose from. If you’re like me, you’ll probably want to get a simple, low cost bookcase like the Manor Oak 4 Shelf Bookcase. Made from wood composite, which is sturdy enough for books, while being relatively light weight; and featuring a simple white finish, the Manor Oak bookcase is a nice way for students and young professionals to keep their books organized. Some assembly required, of course.

If you’re looking for something a little more permanent (that doesn’t require any construction), then you might want to take a look at the Canyon Lake Bookcase. This sturdy bookcase, made from sturdy birch with a warm cocoa finish, features a classic design that’s at once rugged and pleasing to the eye. Measuring in at 60 inches in height, with five spacious shelves, this bookcase has the capacity to store a great deal of books.

Ballard Designs Tuscan Bookcase

If your book collection is a lot larger than a set of Harry Potter novels, then it may be time to invest in a larger bookcase solution, like the Ballard Designs Tuscan Bookcase Set. This 5-piece bookcase set is any book lovers dream, featuring an elegant design and enough room for a small library of books. The bookcase is also sturdy enough to hold almost any object, so there’s no need to restrict yourself to books– you could also use it to showcase your statues, your jewel box, or whatever else your heart desires.

With this plethora of bookcases available, there’s almost no excuse not to have your books organized. Now if only I could find the will to pick the books off my floor, and actually get them onto my shelves, I’d be able to find the Harry Potter book I’ve been looking for…
