Growing up with The Jungle Book and Tarzan, I always had a fascination with the jungle as a kid. There’s just something about the unbridled wilderness that excites me, and brings to mind the images of wild beasts and adventure. Of course, living in the urban jungle of San Jose has been quite a different experience from the Indian wilderness of Mowgli!
There are ways to bring pieces of the jungle into even the most domesticated of homes, however.
Take for example the leopard slipcover sofa. This woven slipcover easily fits over most sofas, and fits tightly onto the sofa thanks to its spandex material. If that’s not enough, you could even get a couple of stuffed leopards to stalk around your living room, and give it an exotic feel.
Stuffed animals or no stuffed animals, bringing a leopard slipcover sofa and other animal print furniture into your home is a sure way to bring a touch of fun into your life. Even though having a leopard print sofa isn’t quite the same as visiting an actual jungle, they sure make a great place to kickback and relax on while re-reading Kipling’s classic, or watching the animated version on TV.
