Somehow I’ve ended up with a number of red comforter sets over the past few years, with the exception of the last set of bedding I purchased just a year ago. It started off in college my freshman year at USC, where I decided to show some school spirit and purchase a comforter set in the school colors– cardinal (red) and gold. Later, when I moved up to the Bay Area, I inherited a bed at the first apartment that I stayed at, that happened to come with red sheets. That bed followed me around for a few more years, and so did the red comforter.
