I am going to be moving this weekend and will be getting one new piece of furniture to fit in my new room. I am actually scaling down my bedroom furniture to fit in a 10″ by 11″ room so my one furniture purchase is going to have to be a round night table.

I already have a square folding table and wooden bed frame that both has straight and pointed edges, this round night table will be sure to add some well needed variety. Hopefully I can find a night table that is high enough so that when I wake up in the middle of the night, I can see the time on my silly Nickelodeon alarm clock. Even though I’m 20-something this clock is by far the greatest alarm clock. Featuring a large red buzzer to put the alarm on sleep mode I’m sure to keep this for many more years.

Going back to the table dilemma, I have two round night tables I am having trouble deciding between:

I really like this untouched naked wood round night table because I can have a place to keep my late night reading material as well as a box of tisues for my allergies. Plus I can paint the table white to match my linens.

I am also liking this black round night table with a single supportive carved leg. This color will be sure to stand out amongst my dark wood bed frame, but I’m afraid the color is too dark to work next to my bed. I’m such a klutz, I might just roll out of bed on top of the table not even knowing it was there.

I guess I’ll wait to make the decision this weekend when I have everything in my new room.
