With all of the music-playing gadgets out these days, how are we supposed to decide which one we need? Between touch screens and cameras and radios and Wi-Fi, these products are used for way more than just music-listening. This is all very fascinating and great for convenience on-the-go, but carrying a mini-computer along with me to the gym or in my back pocket isn’t always reasonable. Introducing the Sandisk Sansa Clip Mp3 player. I’m amazed at what this little device has to offer!

In a shell just two inches long and one and half inches wide, Sandisk fits 1GB-8GB of storage space into this little gadget, which is plenty to hold a few playlists and keep me entertained for hours. It has a four line screen which keeps it compact yet displays what you need to hand pick your next song. There is an intuitive control wheel for music and menu selection, as well as volume adjustment buttons on the side. My favorite part about it is the clip on the back of the device, so you can attach it anywhere on your clothing, purse or backpack and enjoy hassle-free listening. This makes it absolutely perfect for working out. Aside from playing your own music, it also has an FM tuner so you can listen to your favorite radio station.

Sandisk offers the Sansa Clip in several vibrant colors including blue, red, pink, silver and black and in several different storage capacities, so it is perfect as someone’s first MP3 player or for the avid listener. At a rather modest price relative to other music players, it’s a great gift for the holidays. I’m definitely adding it to my wishlist, though I’m not sure I can wait that long so it might have to be an early present to myself…
