Top 5 Winter Skin Must Haves

Depending on where you live, winters can get seriously harsh on your skin. Cold weather not only affects your hands – it’s also important to take care of your face and hair as they’re exposed to elements the most. There are five things that I consider to be crucial in surviving cold North East winters. Remember that no matter where you’re located, the weather is constantly changing and it’s important to treat your skin well year round!

  1. Jack Black lip balm
  2. Eucerin hand lotion
  3. Good Skin moisturizer
  4. Neutrogena sunblock
  5. Burt’s Bees foot creme

5 winter skin product must haves

1.  Lip Balm – If there’s ever a season that causes chapped lips – it’s the winter. My favorite cure is Jack Black lip balm. This lip balm comes in 3 different flavors that are not overpowering in taste or scent. You’ll only need to apply this once a day (but more than that won’t hurt!).

2.  Eucerin – Want a lotion that won’t make your hands feel greasy? Eucerin dry skin therapy will do the trick. The key is to conservatively (one drop goes a long way) apply to your hands in the morning and that will keep them soft the entire day and night.

3.  Good Skin facial moisturizer – An absolute must. Your skin is bound to get dry patches so this is a great way to keep it even throughout. Plus it feels extremely light on your skin and lasts the whole day.

4.  Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock – A must have for when I go snowboarding. I learned this lesson the hard way. Neutrogena ultra sheer sunblock feels like it’s barely on your skin, which is why it’s a must have for any season.

5.  Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Creme – After a day of shopping in my Uggs, or snowboarding, my feet definitely need a break. I like to use Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Creme at night. Just apply some (this lotion is thick so just a drop will do) all over your feet and then put on my Burt’s Bees cotton socks to wear overnight to keep my feet moist.
