Become.com asked me what I think would be some cool gift ideas for guys, so even though it’s barely November, here’s some stuff I’d love to receive this holiday season. If your son is as weird as me, he might get a kick out of some of this stuff too.
- Fullmetal Alchemist: Season 1, Part 1 Box Set – I love this show and I want the complete box set. I also think any guy can appreciate this show and the alchemists fighting style.
- Helmut Newton: Sumo (Hardcover) By June Newton – Anything with Helmut’s name attached to it, I’m smitten by. I’d love to be able to see his photographs off the computer screen for once. Any photography fan will surely be a fan of Helmut Newton and love to receive this book.
- Pokemon Diamond – Pokemon never goes out of style obviously. I think anybody anywhere would appreciate the latest Pokemon game made for the Nintendo DS.
- 2-Year Subscription to Vogue Hommes International Magazine – I absolutely love this magazine and find it cheaper if a subscription is purchased. This magazine features lots of great menswear styling and photographs to provide a plethora of menswear inspiration.
- Tie Dye Sheer Jersey Scarf – I love this scarf! I want it in
every color. It’s a great way to add something extra to a boring outfit, and keep your neck warm when it’s cold outside.
- Ann Demeulemeester Coat – Putting my love of Ann Demeulemeester aside, everyone can use a really warm coat this time of year! The fact that it is incredibly stylish helps. I think a lot of guys could use a coat like this in their lives.
- Zip Twill Blazer From Forever 21 – I want one of these for the winter! It seems so comfy. Would be great to wear to school. I think it translates well into many guys’ wardrobes.
Rick Owens Wedge Ankle Boots – An amazing pair of boots! I could really go on forever about these enhancing my wardrobe – what wouldn’t I wear with these? I’d probably sleep with them on too. Any guy who loves avant garde footwear will love these Rick Owens boots.
