We are planning to spend Christmas and New Year with my in-laws this year. When making a list of the items to pack for the trip, I realized that all our bath robes are in a pretty bad shape. I believe that your choice of clothes and accessories speaks volumes about your personality. This holds true for your choice of bath robes too. So I sat down and ordered one bathrobe each for all my family, based on their personality:

I ordered a Fuschia Flower Robe for my two-year old daughter. She absolutely loves flowers and bright colors. This 100% velour robe has a vivid fuschia flower embroidery and violet piping on a white background. It is in a small size, 20” long and has a 12 ¾” length sleeve. It is also available in a medium size for 3 and 4 year olds.

My son, like all boys of his age, is totally into sports. So his bathrobe has a sporty theme. The Boys Cherokee Sport Robe is 100% polyester, has a straight hem, long sleeves, lapel collar and a tie-closure. It is flame resistant. It has a dark blue background so even if he does get it dirty; the stain is not immediately visible. This gives me some time to get it cleaned!

For my husband, I bought the Courtney and Brooks Cotton Terry Shawl Neck Bath Robe in Navy color. This is a high-end extremely comfy luxurious bathrobe made of thick cotton. It is well detailed, has patch pockets and self-tie belt lengths. It is available in a wide range of colors. I must admit, I chose this robe because I wanted to impress upon my in-laws that I only choose superior products for their son!

I ordered the Sweetest, Softest Ever Robe in the Plum color for myself. I find the traditional white bathrobe a bit boring. This luxurious soft bathrobe made of super-plush microfiber is very comfortable and looks stylish. It has a detachable belt and pockets.  Moreover, it comes with a free Pink or Chestnut Scuff Slippers if you buy it online! Thus you can see that I love to look good but still am economical!

The next time you buy a bathrobe, be it a terry cloth bath robe or a silk bath robe, do ruminate on whether it reflects your personality (or the personality of the person whom you are gifting the robe to). You will definitely find a robe that will appeal to you and give a glimpse of who you truly are.
