How To: Christmas Makeup Ideas with Pictures
With the holiday season upon us many are looking to spruce up their ordinary makeup routines with something a bit more festive. More sparkle and some rich festive colors are perfect for holiday parties or evenings out on the town.
The Too Faced Natural Eye Palette was used to create these simple, toned down eyes, while MAC Fluidline eyeliner made for the perfect smooth winged line on the top lashline turning these simple eyes into a classic pin-up inspired look. Finishing off the look is a bold red lip adds a touch of Hollywood glamour, perfect to pair with a little black dress.
This dramatic smokey eye is set apart from the norm with a deep warm cranberry color dominating the look. With a touch of a deep plum smudged along the bottom lashes this look is definitely eye-catching and very smoldering.
Gold, a gorgeous color very reminiscent of this season, is what makes this look. Urban Decay eyeshadow in Baked makes for the most gorgeous gilded eyeshadow, slightly deepened on the outer edges with a dark brown. NYX Candy Glitter Liner in Gold adds a bit of a sparkle to this look that is sure to glisten in the holiday lights.
Sugar plums may be dancing in your head with this look. With a bright plum on the lid and MAC eye shadows in Coppering and Antiqued in the crease, this look is a bit more on the fun side but still very festive especially with the touch of gold glitter on the lid; just enough to make your eyes twinkle.
Dark, dramatic, and inspired by the night sky this look implements a dark midnight blue and sparkling sliver glitter liner. The midnight blue, from Too Faced’s Smoky Eye Palette, is kept along the lower lashline and low on the lid slightly softened with a medium brown (any color a bit darker than your own skintone is ideal). Too Faced Starry Eyed Liner in Silver Lining was added on the lid to create a star-like twinkle.
