Top 10 fashion and beauty trends for spring

Where is spring? When is it coming? Hopefully the warmer temperatures come to us sooner than later. This winter, I stuck to my signature palette of cool colors. Gray was a big thing for me this season. I dabbled with prints and bold colors (not together).
This season, I want to try more colors and prints. This spring, one of the hottest prints is:
Watercolor Prints
Spring is about the bloom of many things (flowers, love) and different prints. Instead of sticking with floral prints, watercolor prints are fresh and fun. Watercolor printed garments are usually consist of light and dark blues, whites, purples and gray. For the cooler color wearers like me, it’s perfect. You can wear cool coolers in spring.
Sheer tanks
I love how easy and casual a sheer tank can be. Most of us shy away from sheer, at least in public. Sheer can easily be worn without revealing all to the world. Camisoles are very complimentary underneath a sheer tank. Lace camisoles give a slightly sexier look. Just to keep it simple, wear a strapless bra or tube that fits! So many women don’t know their real bra size. Frederick’s of Hollywood does great fittings.
Embellishment
You should have fun with your clothes and accessories! They’re there to make you feel great and confident. Embellishment reared its head this season on a lot of purses and boots. It’s moved on to sandals, wedges, flats and pumps. There are so many different types of embellishment out there. I guarantee there’s one for you — studs are my personal favorites.
Aztec-Ethnic-Tribal Print
If you haven’t noticed this year it’s all about PRINTS. Solid colors can get a bit boring and monochromatic, so having a piece with an Aztec print can add some pizzazz and instant style to any wardrobe. It’s a bold and edgy statement.
White jeans
I think most people run away from white jeans because they believe it’ll bring attention to their “problem” areas. Not true. In fact, the color of the jean is not important. It’s all about the cut and fit of the jean. It’s a classic staple for the warmer months. Give your blue jeans a break.
During the fall and winter, the smoky eye and red lip was very popular. Soon it’ll be time to ditch the dark and heavy makeup for lighter hues.
Nude/Matte Lips
Natural looking makeup goes hand in hand with the light and easy breezy nature of Spring.
Gold eye shadow is complimentary to any complexion. They have a tint of glitter in them to give that extra shimmer and gleam, so a little gold eye shadow goes a long way. Tip: Always apply eye shadow from the brow bone to the inner eye and blend. Blending gets rid of the chalkiness and excess powder. Hence, you’ll get a smoother application.
Coral nail polish
Again, this is one of those universal shades that look great and stylish without trying too hard. Tip: Don’t blow on your nails after application. Blowing causes the polish to crack and chip.
Warm and rich highlights
Stuck in a fashion rut? Start with your hair. Rich highlights opens up your face and brings warmth and the appearance of a healthy glow.
A fresh face
Light and natural looking makeup is key this spring. Feeling extra bold? Go makeup-free sometimes. Neutrogena has amazing acne fighting facial cleansers. Tip: Washing your face with sugar reduces oil and removes dead skin from deep within your pores.
Have fun, fashionistas!
