Anheuser-Busch is new NFL beer sponsor

Move over, Coors – Anheuser-Busch has made plans to replace Coors as the official beer sponsor of the National Football League.
Coors, who had been the exclusive NFL sponsor since 2002, will step down after this season. Prior to that, Anheuser-Busch had shared the sponsorship with MillerCoors from 1990 to 2001, and A-B also holds exclusive alcohol advertising rights for the Super Bowl.
No specifics have been confirmed as of yet: Representatives from the company haven’t specified which one of the company’s beers would be the official beer (the company produces Budweiser, Bud Light and Michelob, amongst others), and the contract’s terms or length of sponsorship weren’t immediately available.
Leo Kiely, CEO of MillerCoors, said that the company will still hold up deals with individual NFL teams.
Whether you’re a Bud or Coors fan, make sure you keep your beer cold with a leather beer holster or a bottle suit holder.
