The best shoes to wear to a music festival
Girls, a golden rule to be followed at any rock concert or music festival is to avoid heels. I had worn a staggering pair of heels to a Jon Bon Jovi concert and I know the pain that follows post-festival. Foot stamping to the beat of the music just adds to the woes of back-aches.
When you dress up for concerts or music festivals, consider comfortable shoe-types. Long hours of standing and relentless dancing leads to blisters, discomfort in the feet and of course, pain in the legs and back. Choose styles like elegant and classy ballet flat shoes. You can wear these versatile ballerinas with dresses, jeans, skirts and almost anything. The flat design helps the feet get better support. Let your hair down in style by wearing chic metallic colors.
Slip on styles work for me at outdoor music festivals. I can kick them off whenever I want to give my feet a breather. Dressy women’s slip on shoes include-
- Clogs
- Gladiators
- Pumps or ballerinas
- Flip flops
- Fringed shoes
If you have some knee problems or feet issues then wear insoles. Women’s insoles offer orthotic arch support to keep the feet well cushioned. Don’t get deceived by their thin appearance. Just enjoy the soft and cushiony feeling while you stand and hoot for your favorite band. Just make sure to keep your shoes clean, or you’ll need a shoe brush scraper
Some shoe styles that should not be worn to concerts are-
- Embellished shoes: In the hustle-bustle of the crowd you may lose a buckle or stone.
- Stilettos or pencil heels: All I can say is that they can be a pain in the butt.
