With the likes of Chloe Sevigny and Ashley Olsen listed among her fashion inspirations, Taylor teeters the line between romantic chic and edgy elegance. Her individualistic approach to fashion definitely translates through her clothing. Her blog, once a round-up of inspiring images, has transformed into a place for tips on shopping, style, fitness and fashion.

This look book of sorts makes it easy for the average style enthusiast to channel runway trends and make them their own.

“I tend to be attracted to the same things like blazers, trousers, silks and floral pieces,” said Taylor. “I allow my mood to create the outfit. I definitely think fit is important and knowing what looks good on your body is key.”

One trend she is certainly embracing this season is pastels. She tends to be attracted to pretty and romantic clothing, which translates well into the pastel color trends that designers Charlotte Ronson and Diane von Furstenberg have fastened on to. “I have been so into pastels and won’t let go of that trend,” said Taylor. “Pastel colors are something that I really got on board with and plan to continue to wear all summer long.”

Taylor told us that her style tends to lean more towards the practical when it comes to clothing, and we agree.
