One thing I love about the world of fashion blogs is the possibility for variety. This variety comes not only in opinions of modern fashion but in how they are presented. Whether it is through a heated rant or a daily fashion diary of outfit picks, great fashion blogs find their own way to worship clothing and accessories.

This is only part of the reason why I love Pandora’s Box, a collection of concept photos featuring fabulously edgy outfits. Writer Sarah Whitney models in semi-elaborate photo shoots, using her educational background in both film and fashion. With her photographer and boyfriend Ryan, the pair create gorgeous editorial worthy of mainstream print fashion mags. Yet, there are darker moments in their photo catalog that remind me of dramatic high fashion.

Probably the greatest thing about Whitney’s photos is that the clothing featured is often budget friendly. As a recent college grad, Whitney certainly understands what the stretch of a buck can buy her. From rocking Target tights to Sheikh shoes, Whitney is a professional recessionista. In that respect, Pandora’s Box is a little bit of everything: fantasy fashion with a reality price tag.
