These trends are built to last
Every season there comes a time when recycling our closet is a must. We push the old trends to the back and fill up the front with new. Sometimes it gets a little intimidating to buy the latest trends because we are unsure how long they will last. So, how can we tell the lasting trends from the fleeting ones? Here are the top five must-have everlasting trends that will be sure to always be in style.
1. The Little Black Dress
Ever since Coco Chanel came out with The Little Black Dress in the 1920s, it has been the top everlasting trend. Keep a good two or three black dresses handy for any occasion!
2. Hosiery
Tights, leggings, patterned pantyhose, you name it! They will always be around in various colors, patterns, fabrics and prints.
3. The Boyfriend Blazer
You can never go wrong with a nice fitting blazer! The boyfriend blazer can be worn year round and compliments any kind of garment.
4. Stiletto Pumps
Always have a pair of pumps in your closet. They can class up any wardrobe and add a bit of sexiness to your outfits!
5. The Biker Jacket
Having a nice leather jacket is always going to be a staple to any wardrobe. When searching for a leather jacket, keep the zippers to a minimal. They can get a little ‘too edgy’.
