A blog interview: My Wonderland
Wow. My Wonderland is gorgeous! I’m sitting here wearing my levi’s jeans and wishing I were wearing gorgeous Givenchy dresses like those found in this blog! So many beautiful pictures from movies, magazines, photoshoots and more. The lovely blogger behind this exquisite site features every type of fashion you can think of, from the classy Ralph Lauren to a Gossip Girl wearing a faux fur coat.
I was lucky enough to have the chance to interview this lovely blogger. Here is the interview:
Who is your style icon and why?
I don’t have a favourite style icon. I think style should be individual and original but that doesn’t mean it can’t be influenced by remarkable people. For instance, Audrey Hepburn made me realize the importance of simplicity; 80′s/90′s models such as Ines de la Fresange and Carla Bruni made me fall in love with being spontaneous and fun, yet classy and ladylike; Sofia Coppola is the reason I noticed how beautiful daily life is, and so on!
What is your favorite part about blogging?
I love thinking that a person from a foreign country such as Turkey, China or Norway reads my blog. Before I started this blog I used to read loads of blogs and I loved some of them so the perspective of another girl experiencing that with my blog thrilled me. Therefore I adore reading comments and nice thoughts.
What is your favorite and least favorite fashion trend?
I like cropped T-shirts with high waisted pants or skirts. I hate the 80′s stuff such as shoulder pads or neon colors badly worn.
What is your favorite quote?
I don’t have “one.” Although the other day I was watching this designer marathon of Oscar de la Renta and he said something pretty cool. I couldn’t find the quote but this was pretty much it: “The runway show is a spectacle, something that is meant to be flawless and entertaining but it doesn’t determine fashion. The clothes become fashionable when the women wear them on the street.” I loved it when he said that because there are lots of designers who are so cocky and think women have to change themselves to fit the clothes and that’s not how it works, it works backwards.
This lady is amazing. I adore her and I adore her blog! I encourage you to check it out below:
