Transitioning summer clothes into fall
Wearing and choosing clothes during the autumn months can be a menace. It is not very warm, but it’s still too early to take out your woolens. So, how do you manage your wardrobe? Autumn months are breezy and somewhat chilly. Make sure you cover up in style, without overlooking the weather factor.
Layering is a style that works out really great at this time of the year. I try and do a bit of summer and winter potpourri here. Your skimpy tees and cotton shirts don’t have to be stored in the attic. Layer them with trendy scarves and shrugs. An ever-green style for autumn is to wear an unbuttoned shirt over a t-shirt. Pull on a half sleeved or sleeveless tee over a full sleeved one for a casual look. Woolen cardigans can be used for formal occasions or to the workplace. You can take them off anytime you feel warm.
Your short skirts and even hot pants can be worn with stockings, tights or leggings. They keep you warm from the harsh autumn winds and let you show off your legs in style. The same applies to junior’s romper. These rompers can be worn with boots and blazers in the fall. You can opt for the long trench-coat styles or stick to the shorter ones.
However, there are some summer clothes that you should always avoid during the fall months. One of them is flowy skirts. They are simply unmanageable due to the breeze. Accessorize the autumn look with stylish booties and covered pumps.
