Casual weekend wear

Casual weekend wear

My weekend agenda is always putting my feet up and doing nothing. But something or the other always pops up around the house, ruining my leisure plans and siestas. So, I always prefer weekend attire, which is comfy enough to snooze-off in, yet chic enough for impromptu guests or plans with friends.

Cotton is a favorite for me almost through out the year. It’s comfortable, skin-friendly and is a symbol of chic and casual dressing. Check out the top-three weekend attire that you can lounge around in-

1. Plaid flannel shirts

Though I love wearing cotton plaid flannel shirts all year round, I do enjoy the woolen ones in winters. They keep you warm, without being too warm for indoor wear. I love pulling them over shorts or tuck them into a pair of lose khakis. I even have a pink plaid skirt!

Denim leggings

2. Jeggings

Jeggings are a boon for all those women who want to avoid thick denim fabrics. These are basically leggings made from soft and stretchable denim fabrics. Most jeggings have an elastic waistband. I do feel that button jeggings adds to the woes of buttoning up. These machine washable jeggings resist the weekend wear and tear, while providing optimum comfort and flexibility.

3. Tunic t-shirts

Pair your jeggings with the Gap body lounge tops. These loose and comfy tops are super soft and shaped like a tunic. They offer sophistication with sublime comfort. The cropped raglan sleeves hit the elbows and have a wide V-neck. The hem of the shirttail is about mid-thigh to hide those extra pounds on your butt.
