Transitioning summer clothes into winter

It’s that time of the year again when you are making room for your summer wardrobe. However, with time there is not much of a distinction between seasonal wear. You can add some sunshine to the gloomy winter days by wearing your summer outfits during winters. All you need to do is get a little creative with adaptation and make sure you stay warm.
You can look fashionable, without investing in a whole new wardrobe for the winter. Here’s how you to work your basic summer garments through the harsh winter-
Most women have at least two jersey sundresses in their wardrobe. A pair of thigh length boots and a cardigan is the perfect way to dress up for a casual winter lunch. To add some sophisticated charm, carry a lightweight, woolen pashmina and drape it around the sundress. They can be worn with woolen leggings too.
Layering is hot and a versatile way to wear your summer tees. Wear a long sleeved t-shirt under your skimpy summer tee. But make sure you stick to garments of similar weight. Pairing it with a chunky woolen dress will look obnoxious. Tees can also be worn under shirts and jackets for a simple yet casual look.
3. Short skirt
There are umpteen numbers of ways to accessorize the skirt for winters. You can try the retro-chic look with leggings, ankle length boots and a classic scarf. For a more casual appeal do away with the scarf and try out some bright and contrasting colors of leggings. With Christmas coming up try a combination of red and green and get into the festive mood.
