Cute fall accessories
Spring gives way to summer; the summer heat dissipates as fall approaches and fall wanes away into winter. No matter which season or year, a woman’s fascination and desire for jewelry never ever fades away! All that changes are the fads which determine whether you will wear a particular piece to the party or not. If you want to flash trendy trinkets in Fall/Winter 2010-2011, here’s what will be considered “in”.
Bold is beautiful! Statement jewelry is the flavor of the season-the more striking it is, the better. A bib necklace, necklaces with big stones, large metallic pieces with a vintage feel; the criterion is that the jewelry should be designed to be the focal point of your attire.
Motifs, symbolism and knotted jewelry are in, as are lightweight metal ornaments. The layered look is a big hit. So if you hate the idea of adorning yourself with gigantic pieces of jewels, try wearing an engraved heart necklace strung on a velvet ribbon, along with a string of pearls and a carolyn pollack bead necklace. This season you need not be all matchy- matchy!
Are bold necklaces not your style, opt for chandelier earrings to make a statement! Fringed ornaments are a rage too and this includes fringed necklaces and danglers!
It’s hip to wear numerous bracelets and bangles on your hand. Alternatively you could wear a chunky square bangle instead. Large rings are also in vogue. Show off your pretty fingers with some eye-catching rings on them!
The essence is that the trend this season follows the adage “The bigger, the better”. The jewelry should be the central piece of your ensemble while the rest of your attire should be simple and accentuate the effect of your ornaments.
