Short boots and how to style them
Celebrated during the 80s, the ankle boots of today have evolved in style and design, and are as popular as ever. Just flip through a fashion magazine or browse your favorite style blogs, and sure enough, you’ll find celebrities and fashion personalities wearing a pair of ankle or short boots with their designer outfit. Madden girl bootie, Tory Burch boots, and other designer short boots are marching through the fashion world. Here’s how to wear them in style.
It may have a designer tag, but that pair of ankle boots or short boots you’ve been eying in the store window might not compliment every outfit. Different styles and body shapes demand different style of clothing and accessorizing. Wearing short boots with the right outfit is nothing less than a dilemma for some women. There are different styles, from skinny pants, skirts, dresses, shorts, or even jumpsuits if you’re daring (thanks to some outrageous pop stars today).
When wearing a pair of slim-fit jeans, take your body shape into consideration. Avoid the stubby look at all costs. Your pants have to be well fitted from the waist to the ankles to give your legs a longer look and top off your black ankle boots.
Don’t be afraid to wear your belvedere rico boots with leg-flaunting dresses and skirts, but be sure that the length of the skirt is a few inches above your knees. Mini skirts are are perfect with a pair of ankle boots. You can mix and match your outfit with ankle boots but don’t overload your style with too many layers, colors, and patterns or you might look tacky!
With the right attitude and confidence, you can manage any outfit and shoes. Just look at the daring fashion plate Lady Gaga! If she can rock a pair of short boots, so can you.
