Among all the blogs I stumble across, there is one that really caught my attention. It’s name, Glutton for Life, got me intrigued and its content got me amazed and wanting to eat healthy. Laura (the founder) lets you discover plenty of recipes for you to make your life better and healthier everyday.

We had a conversation and here is what she had to say:

Why did you start your blog?
-In order to share my obsessions, discoveries and love of life with kindred and curious spirits.

What’s your favorite thing about blogging?
-It inspires me to explore and reflect, and puts me in contact with people far and wide.

Do you have a favorite recipe? Why is it your favorite?
-A current favorite is a raw Tuscan kale salad with anchovy dressing. I love the look on people’s faces when they realize what they are eating. Everyone loves it and yet it’s so healthy and unusual.

What are the essential ingredients to your cooking?
-Fresh local produce. Humanely treated animals. Bright flavors. Imagination. Satisfaction. Love.

Do you have any recommendations for people who want to start their own blog or get into cooking?
-Follow your passion. Find your own voice. Throw caution to the wind. Experiment.

How often do you cook? Do you try to cook elaborate dishes for every breakfast, lunch and dinner?
-I cook virtually every day, although I also love to eat out. I tend to cook rather simply, but I do use lots of different ingredients and draw from many different cuisines. Of course special occasions can call for something extraordinary.

Would you like to say something to our readers?
-I would urge them to consider the relationship between what they eat and how they feel, between health and happiness, and to take responsibility by growing and cooking at least some of their food.
