Tea vs Coffee
The debate between tea and coffee is a rather biased one for me. Being a tea lover for quite some time, I have personally experienced that health benefits of tea are higher than coffee. Research too shows that tea is a healthier drink compared to coffee. If you have not tried tea before then I suggest you start off with iced tea rather than hot tea (to develop the taste). Serve hot tea in a Jingdezhen porcelain tea set to make it extra special.
Numi tea is one tea brand that has focused its attention on growing organic and pure tea. Some of the great benefits of tea, against coffee, are-
- It helps in building a stronger immune system
- Enhances weight loss
- Retains youthful and healthier skin with its antioxidant properties
- Reduces cholesterol and blood pressure
- Risks of heart diseases along with cancer are lowered with regular consumption of tea
- Have less caffeine than coffee
Unlike tea, coffee has none of the above benefits and neither has it been associated with combating diseases. Some researches state that the high level of caffeine in it can be a health risk also. If you do love the taste of coffee, I suggest you reduce its consumption for a healthier you. On a regular basis, try and pep up your day with these healthy teas instead-
