Beauty spotlight: Clinique facial products
Spring has sprung (I do a little happy dance on the inside every time I realize that,) which means we get to enjoy sunny weather and lots of time outside. That also means we’ll all need to be a little more thoughtful about what we use on our skin when we go outside (my happy dance usually stops when I realize that.) In my attempt to find beauty products that are great for the outdoors, I have to say that it looks like Clinique has the best line of facial moisturizers and makeup that includes protection against the elements.
I am not a morning person. This, of course, means that I constantly have dark circles under my eyes from staying up late then waking up early for work. The first thing I looked for was a good eye cream to help reduce the bags under my eyes. While that’s my personal problem with the skin around my eyes, I also know many people who don’t like the lines and wrinkles they get around their eyes. That’s when the Clinique Repairwear intensive eye cream comes in handy. Leave this anti-aging cream on overnight and you’ll be happy to see those lines smoothed out in no time.
Clinique Superdefense SPF 25
As great as the Repairwear is, it only helps with the area around your eyes. To both protect your face from the sun and reduce signs of aging, use the Clinique Superdefense SPF 25 moisturizer daily. Even if you wear makeup, you could use this moisturizer underneath it. Not only does it help protect your face from the sun, but also from the effects of emotional stress.
Besides the moisturizers that I use overnight and during the day, I also like to have makeup with some sun protection built into it. I found that Clinique has a lot of foundation options that include low levels of SPF. I picked some up just for spring, so I don’t have to worry about future damage from all my time in the sun. Since the protective foundation will keep my cheeks from getting sunburn, I also bought some Clinique blush.
Clinique is one of the few cosmetics brands that promise to be non-allergenic and dermatologist-developed.
