Have you started spring cleaning?
“Winter Wrap Up Day” is officially over, look it up, and with it spring is now in full bloom. Have you started your spring cleaning yet? If you haven’t, then remember that it’s never too late to start. With a wide variety of tools and equipment available to you won’t need to use any magic to finish your holiday cleaning. So feel free to welcome spring and all things warm and green.
One of the most common and versatile tools that almost anyone and everyone should have when trying to clean their house or apartment is a silver vacuum cleaner. The most used housekeeping tool, vacuum cleaners can be used to clean carpeted floors, upholstery, draperies, mattresses, etc. Almost anything can be vacuumed. Always make sure that your equipment is in working order and that all of the attachments are clean. Replacing any belts and emptying out your vacuum bag will go a long way to helping you get the most out of cleaning. If you’re looking for something heavy-duty to clean grime off of installed glass, cars or walls, a portable sandblaster is perfect for the job as they can help any old product look new.
When you’re trying to get down to the nitty gritty though, dusting with a retractable feather duster can’t be beat. Not only will you be able to reach areas that you would not be able to reach with a vacuum, but feather dusters are relatively inexpensive and are often made with ostrich feathers or lambswool to naturally trap dust particles.
It doesn’t matter if you’re using chemical cleaners, mops or vacuums, spring cleaning is always something that anyone can get into and is a must if you want to keep clean. Always keep in mind the proper equipment for the type of surface that you’re working on and you’ll be done in no time flat.
