Sleeping was never so fun for kids
The secret to a happy mother and baby is good sleep. A rested body is what keeps us going. However, it is not as simple as it might sound. Sleep time is difficult with some toddlers. Kids do not want to sleep as they want to play more or because of separation anxiety. Kids fear being left alone while asleep. If you find your kid getting irritated and cranky at the thought of going to bed, maybe its time you make his bedtime fun and enjoyable.
Putting your baby to sleep might seem like an arduous task on several occasions. However, with the right environment and some good sleep habits established at an early age, you can ensure a regular bed time schedule. Every child is different so what works with your kid might not really work with your friends’ baby. Your child might be used to sleeping in a baby rocker bouncer, but this might not be true for another child. While there are no set rules for bedtime rituals, here are some tried and tested ways to help make your child enjoy his bed time routine.
The most important thing to ensure is your baby’s comfort. A comfortable baby is more likely to enjoy his ambiance. The best way to do this is to keep the room temperature between 18 to 20 degrees so that your baby is warm and comfortable. A pleasing baby nursery is also a great way to make your child enjoy spending time in his cozy room.
Kids love to have a personal space of their own where they can dream big. Kids bed tents are a great way to let your baby create his or her own fantasy world and enjoy a dreamy sleep.
It goes without saying that habits govern the way we do things. This applies to kids as well. Some babies get habituated to listening to lullabies or bedtime stories before sleeping. This is their way of enjoying the bed time. Bedtime stories are fantastic way of letting your child drift into a nice slumber. You can either read to them or simply play an audio tape – either way, it is going to help your child get comfortable and enjoy his bed time. Once your child has fallen asleep, tuck him or her up in a cozy fleece baby blanket so that your baby sleeps comfortably.
