Would you match your shoes and your dress color?
If wishes were horses and all that stuff…yes, I would love to emulate Eva Longoria and match my dresses with shoes and vice versa. But, oh, the expense…that would definitely kill me. But jokes apart, I do love a coordinated look. It’s easier to put together a look with your accessories like color coordinating your purse and your shoes or maybe your belt and shoes. I opt for versatile evening pumps in neutral shades that can be worn with most evening and day wear.
Yet there is always greed! So, here are some shoes on my wish list:
Steve Madden evening pumps
The nude colored Steven by Steve Madden are some of the most elegant and stylish pumps I’ve seen. The slingback pump with the synthetic sole and leather upper can be worn with light and dark colored dresses and looks great for an evening out or for an all-girl’s lunch. Since the shoes are light colored, they can easily be accessorized with a bright dress or a glittery purse. Getting a bag to match the shoes works for me as the two can match umpteen mix and match looks.
Christian Louboutin pumps
Creve Coeur modern pumps in black by Christian Louboutin are my ultimate shoe fantasy. The calfskin upper features sharp cutouts, open toe and a V’d vamp to make your legs look like they go on forever. The part pump, part bootie shoes have chunky, nifty heels that look so comfortable and the signature red leather sole looks sexy. Creamy, padded leather lining cushions your feet so you can stay in these shoes for the longest time. Match these shoes with a classic leather belt in black with a striking dress in any color.
Stuart Weitzman evening pumps
OK, these can’t be termed a neutral shade and may not match every outfit with all that glitter but it sure can make my heart beat faster. Stuart Weitzman “Swoon” glitter evening pumps with metallic leather lining and leather sole is seriously classy stuff. The round toe and 43/4” heel is definitely hot and something that would look great for those sultry, romantic evenings. You can team it with a purse with muted glitter and keep the outfit simple.
Go with a look that you’re comfortable in. It’s important to identify your style. I personally don’t go with too much of matching stuff and love the mix-n-match look.
