Yellow is the color of spring
Spring is that time of the year that symbolizes a new beginning. The new season brings new flowers, new fragrances in the air and a new sale season at the stores, but spring also marks the start of a brand new season filled with sun. I suppose we all associate seasons with colors and while some colors belong to fall or autumn; yellow is definitely the color of spring.
This year, in order to bring some radiance to my home, I decided to change things around. To start off with, I decided to go with yellow bed sheets in the bedroom. Yellow is a great color for bedrooms. If you have not tried it yet then you must certainly do so. Yellow organic bed sheets brings life into the bedroom and lift up the spirits. If you don’t want to change your bed sheets, then pick up a yellow blanket or throw.
If you also love brass like me then I recommend you push yourself for a yellow brass table lamp. Nowhere’s the kicker – a brass item must be well-maintained else it will lose its charm. If this is your first attempt atbringing in the look of yellow during spring then you should go for a decent lamp that features a ceramic body in yellow. You can keep this lamp in the living room and use it during evenings. A lamp like this may cost you a little over $100 but it is totally worth it. An early dinner near the lamp with a late sunset is simply awesome.
If you have the time and some extra cash, paint one part of the wall in your home in yellow. Yellow is associated with happiness and joy. One place that will surely need the magic of yellow is your kitchen. Some yellow kitchen wall art will brighten up your kitchen décor and this brightness will reflect in your family meal times too. You don’t have to be very specific with your wall décor. You can also scribble on a white wall with yellow paint. It does not have to make sense as long as it looks artistic.
Home decoration with yellow touches is simply fabulous but you will also have to ensure that there is no overdoing it.
