Best of the Web: Style Blogs of the Week no. 43
This week’s Web picks are utter proof that style and smarts are certainly not at odds with one another. Read and visit websites that dote on beauty, jewelry and lifestyle on the 43rd issue of the Best of the Web!
1. Style Maniac
This lifestyle blog is perfect for smart, fun and stylish women. Read up on fashion, entertaining, books, music, art, love, laughter, life and easy ways to live with style every day. Style Maniac was created by the stylish writer/editor Doreen Creede, who’s done about everything amazing: starred on HGTV, written for magazines and newspapers; produced videos, books and blogs. Her philosophy? “As long as you decorate, dress, eat and entertain you may as well do it with style.”
2. EverBeautiful.com
Veteran fashion and beauty editor Melody Lesser founded this online magazine that’s devoted to beauty, fashion, health and fitness for the ageless. “A woman should not be defined by the year in which she was born,” says Melody who can be rather opinionated (but amusingly so), as you’ll read in some of her more personal posts. To wit: “Did Barbie Get A Boob Job” and “Nine Out of Ten Women Dress Younger than Their Age.”
Recently, Melody was chosen by Vogue Magazine and shopping giant QVC to appear in a Vogue Magazine ad for QVC. She also appeared on QVC’s National Makeover Day Show this past April. Read all about it on EverBeautiful.com.
3. Rocaille Writes
Rocaille Writes’s Monika is a seasoned beauty blogger who’s been in the online beauty community for the past two years, when she took a year off from her studies in Poland to live with her fiancé in Canada.

“I’d just discovered YouTube and the blogging beauty community,” says Monika, who now lives in the US, “and already being a beauty addict, I knew I had to get in!” You can find her honest advice on make-up trends, skincare, haircare, nail products or just about anything beauty-related.
4. Charm Bracelet Diva
Charm Bracelet Diva began as a creative outlet and a way for blog editor Kathleen to share vintage, repurposed jewelry designs.

“Little did I know,” said Kathleen, “that it would morph into a DIY repurposed home décor blog as well.” Witness her flea market and thrift store finds transformed into something that’s all her own. Says this creative blogger, “It’s all about what makes our hearts go pitter-patter. And the thriftier, the better!”
