Coolest and lightest shoe from Nike
As more and more people realize the benefits of walking barefoot, shoe companies have started making shoes that simulate the same, for instance the Vibram FiveFingers and the Inov8 Evoskin. Approximately around the same time, Nike started using the Nike Free technology to make shoes that were lighter and allowed more natural movement of the foot. The Nike Braata is one amongst such shoes. However, unlike its counterpart the FiveFingers, these sneakers still looked like shoes and not like second skin. This makes it much more appealing to those who prefer conventional looking shoes.
The 6.0 Braata was introduced in 2009. It’s design is inspired by the boat shoe. This lightweight sneaker can boast of the inclusion of the Nike Free technology and of a cold-wrap construction that uses less harmful solvents than existing processes. The Braata has a Phyton midsole that makes the shoe more flexible and lighter. It also has a sure-fit tongue strap to ensure better fit and a tough rubber outsole for better traction. The shoe has a seam free insole and sockliner that make it feel even more comfy.
Nike 6.0 Braata can be customized. You can get actually design your shoe using the available choices of materials and colors, and even get your personal ids embroidered on the heel of the shoe. The materials you get to choose from are faded canvas, suede and plaid suede. The colors include white, indigo, grey, yellow, maroon and pink amongst others.
This versatile shoe can be worn as a slip-on or as a sneaker, for skate boarding or whilst chilling out with friends. Its lightweight design, comfy feel and hip appearance make it a perfect shoe to wear when you want to look cool.
