How to get the sunkissed look for summer

Clinique blush

The soft flushed look, as if you’ve just spent the whole day on the beach and just the beginning of a light tan is what you want now. It looks great and somehow makes one look younger. You can get that look even without having to spend an entire day in the sun. All you need is to learn some neat little tricks with a few cosmetics. Here’s how:

  • Highlight your eyes but subtly please. The idea is to look natural. Use dark liquid pencil eyeliner. Apply the top liner and make sure you apply evenly without smudging. Then a thin bottom liner and smudge the liner away towards the inner corner of the eye. Curl your eyelashes gently for a few seconds. On with the mascara to make your eyes look fresh-eyed and bigger and you’re done with your eyes.Clinique blush
  • Out comes the bronzer. Begin on the jaw line, just behind the ear and with smooth, fluid strokes, blend the bronzer up to your jaw line and all around the perimeter of the face. Go up to the hairline, temples and your cheekbones. Lightly dust the bronzer across forehead, nose and chin to give you that subtle, natural glow. Just dab a little pink-peach blush, like Clinique blush to the apples of your cheek to balance out the bronze look. A tiny bit of shimmer powder to the tops of the cheekbones and you’re done.
  • No, wait a minute. A sheer, pink lipgloss will complete the sunkissed look.

The idea is to retain the natural look. You want to look like you’ve just come back from a tropical holiday with that chic glow.
