Having a baby to dress up is exciting, but before you know it they will be old enough to choose their own costumes. Why not dress them up in one of the many adorable baby costumes this year while you still can? Here are a few ideas for Halloween 2011!

1. Monkey

A monkey costume is one of the cutest costumes you could choose, and it’s pretty much gender neutral. Your neighbors, friends and family will not stop talking about how sweet your little munchkin is in his/her little monkey costume complete with tail and ears.

If you don’t want to be too cutesy then maybe a baby lobster costume would be a better choice for your baby this Halloween. It will still get plenty of positive attention and probably more laughs than anything. This costume is especially cute if your baby has hit the crawling stage.

3. Pumpkin

A classic favorite is the baby pumpkin costume. It is adorable for baby boys and girls. There are different versions you can pick from. For girls you could try a princess-pumpkin version. Or for infants a version with bunting to keep your baby the warmest when you go out trick-or-treating.

4. Ladybug

Why not dress up your little bug as a lady bug? Many people are fascinated by ladybugs, so there’s no doubt that your baby girl dressed up as a lady bug will draw attention. There are different choices for baby ladybug costume whether you want a cute tutu skirt or a bunting version.

5. Lion

You might think that your baby couldn’t get any cuddlier, but with a baby lion costume, you will want to cuddle your baby even more. This good option if you plan on taking your baby out trick-or-treating experience because it will keep your baby warm while being dressed up in an adorable costume.
