The necessity of baby food storage
Now I love babies, but I don’t have any so my experience with them is basically just playing with them until they get fussy then hand them off to someone else. And, I certainly don’t have to worry about something as ridiculous as storing their food. As far as I know, it keeps fairly well. I never see it refrigerated, so it’s cool just hanging out in a cupboard or pantry. But these baby food storage containers exist, so there must be a market for it. With that said, here’s what you need to look for when searching for some baby food storage.
Quantity: I assume you’re buying these because you don’t want to waste whatever your baby doesn’t eat. Now baby food jars are pretty small, so the baby food storage containers must be as well. Since you have to buy baby food in bulk, it makes sense to buy the storage containers in bulk as well. I wouldn’t settle for anything less than 12.
Quality: The whole point of these storage containers is to keep the baby food fresh out of the jar. If it doesn’t do that, then it’s a failure and you should get better ones. Rubbermaid and Ziplock are solid companies, go for them instead of the generic brand.
Style: This is purely superficial as your baby won’t know or care if they have the “Toy Story” container or a plain-green container. Just make sure the food stays fresh.
