Create your own holiday gifts using iron on transfers
I don’t know how to sew, knit and crochet. Although these are lovely hobbies to have, I probably don’t have the patience to learn how to do any of them. What I have discovered is that I do have patience to use iron-on transfers to create clothing and gifts for friends and family this upcoming holiday season. It’s not time consuming and they are easy to use.
One of the easiest gifts you could make for someone is a personalized t-shirt. Everyone wears t-shirts so you can’t go wrong. Pick iron-on transfers that remind you off that person. Like football theme for dad or a Spiderman action figure for your nephew. It’s very simple and then you can say you made them a shirt! They will treasure it much more than if you go to a superstore and buy a factory made shirt.
For young girls and guys you can make a personalized tote. There are letter iron-on transfers that you can use to spell out the person’s name or favorite saying. You could also paint or embellish it a bit more if you have time to make it an extra special gift.
If you know how to do a little stitching, then you can make holiday pillows for your friends and family as gifts. Pick out iron-on transfers that are holiday themed and then arrange them onto the cloth you will use for the pillow. Stich to fabric together inside out, but leave one side un-stitched. Fill with cotton and stich it closed. You can make gifts for everyone this holiday season using iron-on transfers.
