3 fall/winter boot trends you can try this season
Winter is coming soon and with that comes the freedom to wear one of my favorite shoes of all shoes, boots. This season, boot trends are easy to do and fun to sport with denim, a maxi dress and just about everything.
Here are 3 fall/winter boot trends for 2011 through winter 2012.
Long boots are definitely in this season with riding boots and thigh high boots making the list for must-have boots for the season. I’ve always loved riding boots though. In addition to working with almost any outfit you have in your closet, riding boots always exude an air of class that makes me think of New England or the Hamptons. If you want to change up your riding boots look, go for Frye buckle boots in a riding boot style. This kind of boot has class but also a little danger and some masculine energy.
Thigh high boots
What can be said about thigh high boots that hasn’t been said before? Thigh high boots reek of divine feminine energy and empowerment. Thigh high boots makes a statement that goes “I got thigh high boots, so what?” Thigh high boots work well with knee-length dresses or skirts and when wearing them aim for just enough exposure of boots. With that said, if you are one of the lucky ones who can rock some thigh-high boots like Britney on Glee, we won’t hate you.
Shake away any bad mojo, juju or what have you with a swinging pair of fringe boots. Wear your fringe boots with jeans or try them with a 60s style shift dress. You can even pair them up with a chunky sweater, knee-length skirt and some leggings or tights.
