Don’t forget your baby
I’m afraid this title may have been a little misleading. I didn’t mean to not lose your baby, although I’d hope that would go without saying. I meant to treasure the precious memories of your baby being a baby. Shouldn’t be too hard in today’s age, as everyone has a camera on their cell phone, and the majority of phones have a video camera as well. So the question becomes, “What do I do with all of these photos, put them in a photo cube vase?” I’m guessing you asked that ironically, but that item actually exists. Here are some ideas:
Put Them Online: This has a three-fold effect. First, everyone else gets to see your kids. If you have family who lives across the country then it bodes well. Second, it gives everyone the option of seeing your kids pictures. No matter how cute and adorable your kids are, not everyone wants to see every single picture and video you take of them. This allows those people to pick and choose. Third, unless Flickr and Facebook cease to exist anytime soon, you’ll basically be able to use their sites as backups for all your pictures.
Photo Album: The alternative to online is to go old school and put them in a photo album. This works well for that one aunt who still doesn’t know how the internet works.
Frames: Another old school tactic, put them in frames around your house and office. You can put a spin on this by putting them in different photo-themed items, like a photo cube vase that can also hold flowers, or a flip photo frame that can hold multiple photos.
