ivory crib beddingIt’s always helpful to have nursery ideas before you start decorating and furnishing the room. Most of the time your baby will be sleeping so the most important part of the room is the baby bedding. It should be comfortable and match the theme and décor in your nursery.

Ivory crib bedding is the perfect choice for baby bedding because it’s a neutral color. Neutral colors are great for decorating nurseries for a few reasons. If you don’t know what the baby’s gender is yet, neutral colors allow you to still decorate and furnish ahead of time. Another reason they are great is that it’s harder to spot stains on lighter linens and surfaces.

When you invest in your ivory crib bedding make sure that it will soft and comfortable for the baby. Soft cotton material is the best because some other materials could be irritating on the baby’s skin. You want to make sure that your crib bedding includes a padded bumper to protect your baby. You will also need the sheet, comforter and dust ruffle to complete the set.

Now if you do want a bit more of a theme when picking out the baby bedding and decorating the nursery, I would recommend ladybug baby crib bedding. This bedding is also gender neutral and makes a very cute them in a nursery. For a boy you could create a bug theme without sticking to strictly lady bugs. For baby girls you could expand on the lady bug bedding and create a nursery theme out of it as well. There are many adorable lady bug toy mobiles, blankets and other nursery décor items.
