Good colors to create a relaxing bedroom
If you have bold reds and pinks in your bedroom it’s likely that you are getting very good sleep. It’s time to turn your bedroom into a calm and serene place where you can go to get some shut eye. Here are some tips on how to use color to make your bedroom a more peaceful place.
Earthy colors like greens, browns, light yellows and oranges and beige are good colors for the bedroom. If you can paint your walls, make sure they are white. For your bedding, try a sage and plum comforter. Because your bed is the centerpiece of your bedroom, you want it be the most appealing and calm things in your room. The cool sage and warm plum color will immediately put you at ease and make you want to fall asleep!
If you can paint your walls, make sure they are white. The lighter your walls are the more relaxing your room will feel. If you feel up to the task you could even paint your walls a light sage color to match your bedding. This is the next best thing if you are not a fan of white walls, and prefer to have some color.
Another important tip for keeping your room a peaceful place, aside from color, is to keep your room organized and decluttered. I know this is easier said than done, but investing in a few storage baskets or drawer sets can help store away clutter. Another fun tip for making your bed extra comfortable, is to get an over-sized comforter. When you pick out that sage and plum comforter for your bed, try getting a kind size washable comforter. You will sleep soundly throughout the night because a bigger comforter means that it’s less likely to fall off the bed in the middle of the night. Enjoy your new relaxing oasis and sleep well.
