Peony and Parakeet

“My blog is all about creativity and love for using colors. I try to include arts, crafts and design into every one of my projects. One of my passions is to make collage art where I use handmade papers. Another is to design fabrics and combine them with knitting. I have new projects going on every week and often provide instructions for them too.” – Paivi
Bees Knees Bungalow

“ My goal and inspiration for Bees Knees Bungalow is this: Make your house your very own. Do what you love. Don’t decorate to please other people. Please yourself. Surround yourself with the things you love best. I like fresh ideas and making old objects new again. I have a growing family and my budget isn’t limitless. But paint is cheap and can freshen up a room. Be creative with the things you already have. And by all means, make your house a home.” – Jeanne.
Project Queen

“I would describe Project Queen as a blog where people can feel inspired. I enjoy taking on projects that are daunting and turning them into doable. I host a weekly link party that highlights some of the creativity that is out there in blogland. I host a giveaway 1x a month, feature other bloggers, share recipes and sometimes just ramble about what is in my heart and going on in my life!” - Mandy.
Metamorphosis
A Creative Life Unfolding

“About three years ago, I felt a sudden need to start painting, which completely took me by surprise. I started my blog at the same time to chronicle my creative journey and also be able to share it with my friends and family. Once I started, I was hooked – not only on living a creative life, but also on blogging and connecting with my readers, many of whom have become good friends. My blog has now become my place where I share not only my paintings, but my knitting, travels, recipes, and whatever else inspires me!”
Heavens to Betsy

“Heavens to Betsy is a lifestyle blog where I share favorite recipes, products, monogrammed finds and anything else that tickles my fancy. I work as Communications Director for Ashley Brooke Designs, a stationery company, and my blog is my creative outlet for all the fabulous things I come across in my daily life.”
A Bird in the Hand

“I’m a former magazine editor/writer; I now combine those skills with painting, paper and textile art. My blog is about my daily life as a working artist. A little show and tell, some silly moments, some serious ones, whatever reflects me on any given day. It’s also a way to keep friends and family, and new friends, up to date with what I’d doing.” – Colette.
Ellen Giggenbach Cut Paper Art

“As a multi surface designer, I am always finding new and exciting ways to apply my hand made, colourful, paper cut art works. Sometimes I think the world has become a very serious place, I hope that by sharing images that bring a smile to my face and an extra beat in my heart, my viewers too will be inspired and feel the joy that I see in things that surround me and ideas that excite me. My blog is filled with new paper cut products, from crafts to art prints, It shows what inspires me, from photography, to my latest vintage finds, If you enjoy looking at art and design with a hint of mid century quirkiness and a touch of European folk, my bright and sunny blog is sure to bring you joy.” – Ellen.
Whew! What a whirlwind of features! Some of those sites I found myself spending a lot of time in. It probably didn’t help that I didn’t want to get out of these sleeper chairs I recently purchased. I’m not kidding, I am in the ultimate comfort zone while laying in this thing. I think it’s time for a nap. Until next week fellow readers!
